While conducting fieldwork near Paterson Great Falls, we came upon our former student Erik Strandskov, thanks to Dr. Josh Galster looking him up. Erik was part of our very first Geology Field Camp in 2014. Erik is now a project geologist working for GEI Consultants, a national environmental firm, in this case overseeing the hazardous cleanup and new construction in the Great Falls National Historic Park. Erik was able to show us the temporarily closed off site, and explained to the students some of his daily activities that directly connected with his earlier Field Geology experience!
