Sounds like Friday morning works for a meet&greet and planning mtg but several folks had issues getting there by 10. How about 11 a.m. instead?

So it seemed like Fridays were a viable option for many of those interested in meeting in person to discuss plans for the co-op. How does this Friday Sept 1 sound? Can we get access to the church that day? Does 10 am work for everyone?

Hi gang! I was just added as a page manager so first I wanna say thanks and a big hello to everyone and introduce myself.

My name is Nicole, I'm currently living in Boonsboro and homeschooling a new Kindergartner, though we did actively do preK and several co-ops etc last year as well. I have 3 grown children as well all of whom (at one time or another and for various lengths of time and across 3 states!) homeschooled either part or full time. So it's not my first rodeo, but I'm also always learning and finding that while some things stay very much the same, many things have changed since my last go at this 10-15 yrs ago. So I'm here going through the process and figuring things out as I go just like many of you!

All that being said, I'm excited to help in any way that I can to get a local co-op going and meet and forge relationships with families going on this journey as well!

Hello. If families are wanting to set up a future meeting to discuss more in person, please discuss and let me know the day/time you are requesting (if you want to meet at the church building) and I will coordinate with the pastor.

(Erik) As we discussed on July 29th, there seems to be enough interest and an obvious need for something local.

I shared at the interest meeting that my role is the liaison to the church and use of the facilities, as well as provide any desirable faith opportunities such as a monthly Bible class, morning prayer etc.

So, the big question going forward is what role(s) are others looking to bring to the group, based on their skills, interests and passions?

Hello, I don't see where the 'Poll' feature is available so I will just make a post. To get this ball moving forward, please add a comment, below, with the grades of your kids. Mine are 6th, 9th and 10th. *** Please list what grade they are entering this Fall.

This info will help us identify the group size, as a whole and potentially as smaller, grade-focused, groups. Thank you.
