Appalachian State Hampton Roads, VA Alumni Chapter

Come out to Ft. Monroe on July 28th between 3pm and 7pm to help us welcome incoming freshman from our community to the Appalachian State community!! We will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the fixings including desert! There will be corn hole to play and a playground near by for the kids! The shelter is also located just around the corner from the beach so bring your beach towels, Frisbees, bikes, and what have you. Admission is only $5/adult and $2.50 per child so come out and enjoy the afternoon with fellow Appalachian Mountaineers!!

Did you know that 1 of the 19 firemen killed in Arizona was an Appalachian graduate? Let's stop to think about those 19 brave men and their families!

ASU Grad Among 19 Killed In Ariz. Fire - The Watauga Democrat Ashe County native and Appalachian State University grad Eric Marsh, 43, of Prescott, Ariz. was among the 19 firefighters killed Sunday.
