Objective Structured Clinical Evaluations (OSCEs) are indepth, real world simulations that give our students a chance to practice their skills, show what they know, and learn a lot about themselves and how they handle making clinical decisions on their own.
They don't always go smoothly, but learning always happens, and that's the real goal of OSCEs. 💛🖤

We're proud to be a part of a Department of Rehabilitation Sciences that values interprofessional learning. This week our AT students welcomed our occupational therapy (OT) students into the AT lab to serve as simulated patients as AT students practiced their modality skills.

Interprofessional education is all about breaking down silos and building stronger healthcare teams. By collaborating early in their clinical education, both groups gained valuable insights into each other's scopes of practice—setting the foundation for seamless, patient-centered care in their future careers!
