UniTec Career Center serves eight school districts with sixteen programs available at the secondary level with an average enrollment of 450-500 students per year. In addition, the evening programs serve approximately 2,200 adults in the GED/AEL and continuing education programs per year.

Students in UniTec's Pathways to Teaching just finished their fall bulletin board project. Mr. Warner, UniTec's graphic design instructor, discussed design principles and elements with the class prior to the project. Students created fall boards for the open house at UniTec on October 22. 🎃🍁

UniTec Career Center's Student of the Month for August 2026-2027 is Keira McMillin, a North County High School Senior who is pursuing Health Services.

“I would like to thank Mrs. Declue for helping me get this award and for all of the amazing work she has done this year. She is an amazing teacher and I love being able to learn from her,” says McMillin.

UniTec CCMA Health Instructor Mrs. Mikayla Declue praised McMillin.

“Keira has been engaged and ready to learn since day one. She currently works in the healthcare field and shows strong commitment and desire to continue her education and further her career path in healthcare. She is a leader in the classroom with her strong knowledge base and willingness to help others. She brings a great attitude and friendly smile everyday, “ said Declue.
