The hardest part isn't the grief itself-it's the silence that comes when you think you're the only one still hurting months or years later.

I've sat with so many people who felt ashamed for not being "over it" by now. That shame? It's not yours to carry. It belongs to a culture that sold you a false timeline.

Grief doesn't follow a schedule. And you're not behind.

What do you wish you'd known when loss first arrived? Share below-let's make sure no one has to grieve in silence.

The culture tells you to 'move on.' But what if staying connected to what you loved IS the healing?

Your grief isn't a backpack to drop. It's proof that someone mattered. And learning to carry it-to honor it, talk about it, let it shape who you're becoming-that's what moving forward actually looks like.

How are YOU carrying your grief forward? Share your story in the comments. This is a no-judgment zone.

If grief has changed the way you see yourself, you are not alone. Loss can make people say things like, “I am broken,” “I am not myself anymore,” or “I do not know who I am without them.” These words make sense when grief is overwhelming - but they can also make grief feel even larger, a...

At Tante Emma's in Crouch having an absolutely amazing authentic German meal. So good to know this I'd hear. The b**r selection is outrageous ( I'm not a b**r person but Drew is), and the food is overwhelming. Real, all natural, home cooked goodness.

The friends who disappear after loss-that's a grief too, and it deserves to be named without shame.

I see you in week six, month three, month nine. The silence from people you thought would stay hits different when you're already broken. And here's what I want you to know: their absence isn't a verdict on your worth. It's their fear, their exhaustion, their own limits showing. Naming that difference-between what you needed and what they could give-that's how you stop blaming yourself for a loss you didn't cause.

You're grieving two things right now. Both are real.

Grief doesn't wait for the right time or place-it shows up in the cereal aisle, the parking lot, the quiet Tuesday morning when you're least ready.

The 3-3-3 Protocol is built for exactly those moments. Thirty seconds. Three phases. A way to stay present without drowning.

But here's what I want to know: where did your last grief burst find you? What were you doing? How did you get through it?

Go to the link in the bio to access your free Grief Burst Workbook in the Reading Room. All workbooks, journals, audio mediations and writings will also be available to you, free, forever.

Share in the comments. No judgment-just recognition. Because when you name it, someone else realizes they're not alone in theirs.
