Help us spread the word! The Bear Booster Memorial Scholarship In Memory of Sam Lewis is open and accepting applications until June 1. Moscow Bear Boosters will award two continuing education scholarships, each in the amount of $1000 to a Moscow High School female and male graduate who most embodies the character of Sam Lewis. Please note that the scholarship requires the student be:
1. High School Senior – must receive diploma from a Moscow School District High School
2. Plan to enroll in an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in Fall 2025
3. Participation on at least two (2) high school athletic teams in their Junior and Senior year with a 3.0 GPA or greater

The North Idaho Athletic Hall of Fame (NIHOF) announced the finalists for the 62nd Annual Awards, recognizing the outstanding achievements of athletes, teams, and coaches from 29 high schools and three colleges in northern Idaho.
The award winners will be honored at the NIHOF banquet, taking place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.

The event will also include the induction ceremonies for five individuals into the Hall of Fame:
• Jim Winger, former Lake City and Coeur d’Alene High basketball coach
• Bart Templeman, former track throwing coach
• Debbie Buchanan, former University of Idaho volleyball coach
• Rick Rasmussen, former Coeur d’Alene High and University of Montana football athlete
• Mike Iupati, former University of Idaho and NFL defensive lineman

Check out Noah Crossler (Moscow swimming): He won two individual events and broke a state record at the Idaho Class 5A state swim meet on Nov. 8 and 9. Crossler won the boys 100-yard butterfly final by over three seconds with a time of 51.64,...
