Day 4 of our final full week camp of the summer found us on an epic Geocaching adventure. We found several really cool caches and are now learning about coordinates and scheming on how we will place some caches of our own tomorrow.

Day 3 of our last full week camp of the summer:

These cool kids picked a mountain of goatheads in a highly trafficked area betweeen , & in Garden City. I am so proud of their hard work and effort in making their community a better place for all.

Day 2 of our final full day camp of the summer;

Today we explored the rad murals in Garden City. The kids tinkered around with dslr cameras and modified shots on their tablets with a great kid friendly editing tool called Sketchup.

Day 1 of our last full week camp of the summer.

So far we’ve;

⭐️hung out and had some unstructured nature play time at the river
⭐️played a cairn stacking game
⭐️played “rounders” (British baseball with a tennis racquet 🤷‍♂️)
⭐️played grounders at a play structure
⭐️ate lunch together under a tree
⭐️played some fun logic games

& we are just barely halfway through the day! 👏👏

In the coming days we will be cooking in an Ooni oven, doing a service project together and playing so much more! So fun!

Fall programming preview;

After-school Explorers Club!

After a long day in the structured school environment kids will benefit greatly from the freedom & creativity that unstructured nature play provides. Come play outside on the Greenbelt with us!

We are having fun at the today in the kids club tent. So many kids stopped by to borrow a variety of cool cameras to photograph their favorite market goodies. 👏👏👏

We made great progress on our first little library build last week. It will be passed on to our next group who will build the finishing touches. We can’t wait to donate this to one of our community partners and see it out there in use!
