Hello from City Speakers - Downtown Boise. We are a dynamic group dedicated to excellence in speaking and presenting, while still being fun-loving and open. Due to COVID, we will be beginning virtual meetings until further notice, and we'd love to have you. Hopefully, you will give us grace these first couple of meetings as we navigate this new territory. Our first meeting we will go over what things will look like and enjoy Table Topics, and opportunity to speak on random topics for 1 to 2 minutes. This teaches us flexibility and adaptability, perfect for these unsettling times. Please drop us a message if you'd like a Zoom link to join us.

IMPORTANT: City Speakers is suspended meeting in person until the end of March. We will continue to update you here.

A message from our President:
Fellow Toastmasters,

The health and safety of our club members is my priority. Therefore the decision has been made to cancel our club meetings through the end of the month due to COVID-19. At that time I will re-evauate and provide an update.

I apologize for the inconvenience but am absolutely confident that we share the commitment to protecting the well being of our fellow members.

I will provide you with any new information I receive regarding this situation or any other changes.

This weekend our very own Brittany Pietrucci won first place in Table Topics. Chris Freeman got second place. Congratulations to both of you! Next stop is Division A April 18th

This was our speech contest on Table Topics done at the club level. Brittany Pietrucci, in the middle won the contest and will be competing at the next level this Saturday, March 7th, at 9:00 a.m. at the Albertsons Headquarters - 250 E Parkcenter Blvd, Boise, ID 83706. If you can, please come give her support!

Chad Worth won 2nd place and Nick Coe won third place. Crowd is cheering wildly!!! What a fun competition and a great group of speakers we have.

Come out and join us! We not only learn how to speak and lead, we have creative ways to engage with each other.
