Melanin’s Force Shield
Did you know that melanin does more than just give your skin its color? It also plays a powerful role in protecting your health!
Melanin helps:
• Fight off harmful free radicals (reactive oxygen species)
• Absorb toxic metals from the body
• Support your immune system by maintaining cellular energy
Studies suggest that a loss of melanin could be linked to diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Lewy Body Dementia. Keeping melanin levels healthy might help protect your brain and immune system from these conditions!

Animal based diets favor Mitochondrial function.
Animal fats like ghee, butter, and tallow are supreme compared to man-made manufactured oils and fats.
The more EZ (exclusion zone) you can build inside your body of mitochondria the better you will feel and the more energy you will have.
Here’s my favorite ways to build EZ and promote mitochondrial health:
1. Animal based diet- Eating seasonally and locally as possible.
2. Cold exposure- Cold morning walks, cold showers, or any type of plunge are great way to build mitochondrial, resilience and exclusion zone.
3. NO ALAN - Artificial Light At Night (ALAN) wreaks havoc on your sleep and mitochondria. Turn the lights off at night and block out any other tech screens or lighting. Use low lit dim red lights or candles.

Daily ab work is incredibly important for a strong and functional core. Your abdominal muscles are key to stabilizing your body, supporting your spine, and maintaining good posture. By doing ab exercises daily, you're not only improving how your midsection looks but also benefiting your overall well-being.
Regular work on these muscles can reduce the risk of lower back pain, enhancer posture, and make it easier for your body to handle a variety of movements with strength and stability. Just a few minutes of daily ab exercises can lead to a more resilient core, supporting you in your daily activities and physical pursuits.

Hello everyone,
As we navigate our busy and often stressful lives, it's crucial to prioritize our health and well-being. One vital aspect of this is supporting our body's natural detoxification process, especially when it comes to heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. Fortunately, there are many natural ways to support heavy metal detoxification that you can incorporate into your daily routine.
First and foremost, daily sun exposure is essential for everyone. Adequate sun exposure can help detox heavy metals by boosting vitamin D levels, increasing immune function, and maximizing glutathione and melatonin production.
Both glutathione and melatonin play a crucial role in supporting the body's natural detoxification process, particularly when it comes to heavy metals. Glutathione binds to heavy metals, making them more water-soluble, and easier for the body to eliminate. Additionally, it helps protect cells from oxidative damage caused by heavy metals. Melatonin, on the other hand, increases the activity of antioxidant enzymes, reduces inflammation, and protects against oxidative stress.
Remember that we produce melatonin through sunlight exposure and not from a pill. Ensure that your nights are red-lit and dark to activate your melatonin, and avoid artificial light at night as any light that is not red will disrupt your melatonin levels.
Consuming a nutrient-dense diet is also crucial. Animal foods are rich in essential minerals such as zinc and selenium, which can help chelate heavy metals from the body. Here are some foods you can add to your diet to support heavy metal detoxification:
Oysters
Shellfish
Wild-caught salmon
Liver
Small fish (sardines, mackerel, herring)
Grass-fed lamb/beef
In addition to dietary changes, regular sauna use can also support heavy metal detoxification. Saunas promote sweating, which can help eliminate heavy metals through the skin. Aim to use a sauna 4-5 times a week to support your body's natural detoxification processes, and ensure that you rehydrate with clean water. Avoid drinking tap water at all costs.
You can also take a binder before the sauna to help eliminate and bind to toxins. Shilajit from Clrly.com or activated charcoal are both excellent options. Take about 10-20 before the sauna on an empty stomach for best results.
Finally, practicing nasal breathing can also support heavy metal detoxification. Nasal breathing increases oxygen uptake and stimulates the production of nitric oxide, which helps support blood flow and promote detoxification. This is one of the easiest practices that can make a significant impact on your biology.
Incorporating these holistic practices into your daily routine can support your body's natural detoxification process, promoting optimal health and well-being for years to come. If you're struggling with your fitness or health goals, please don't hesitate to book a consult call or respond to this email, and we'll help you get started on your journey back to optimal health.
Best regards,
Taylor

You have metabolic fat deposits across your upper back, neck and spine that create heat, rip through calories, and enhance mitochondrial function. Start your cold plunging slow by adapting safely. Start with morning walks and cold showers and face dunks. Then you progress to full body submersion.
