Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of students, but every once in a while, one leaves a lasting impression.
More than 10 years ago, Mr. Deus was a student in my Intro to Education class. Today, he’s inspiring students as a teacher at Park Vista High School. Every time we run into each other, he still gives me the biggest hug—and it reminds me exactly why I do what I do.
Watching former students become incredible educators is one of the greatest rewards of this profession. So proud of you, Mr. Deus! ❤️
