Make America Math Again

We would like to welcome the newest member of our Make America Math Again tutor team, Michele Macchiarella.

Michele recently graduated from UConn with his B.S. in Mathematics. He earned a 4.0 and graduated Summa Cum Laude. At UConn, Michele served as the Math Department Secretary as well as a math tutor in the tutoring center on campus.

He is a member of Pi Mu Epsilon, and Phi Theta Kappa (Math Honor Society, International Honor Society).

We would like to welcome the newest member of our Make America Math Again tutor team, Sofia Melgar. Sofia recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She has an extensive education in mathematics and is a member of Tau Beta Pi (FAU Engineering Society). She is friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent Spanish. Harriet has been a math teacher for 37 years in the South Florida area specializing in elementary and middle school math. She was also the Math Department Chairperson for Sawgrass Springs Middle School for 19 years. She is friendly, accommodating, and highly experienced in teaching math.
