NOW is a supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment and prioritizes Constitutional equality in our work. 🙌
The work we are doing and the progress we are making towards women’s equality can be lost at any time because those advances depend on legislation that can be (and has been) weakened or repealed by Congress. We see this happening now in our country and we are and will continue to fight for all women. 💗

Violence against women can manifest itself in many different ways such as domestic violence, s*xual assault, harassment, abortion clinic violence, and hate crimes. It manifests itself in our judicial system and as economic oppression. NOW works to end violence against women and to educate our community on society’s view of women. We seek to address these structural problems in our nation and it’s attitude towards women which limits their freedom and agency. Join us at our meetings to discuss these topics and more! 💜

We are committed to fighting discrimination based on s*xuality and gender identity. We are continuously fighting for equality in the work force, health care system, military, education system, etc. FAU NOW is committed to educating its members and the community on the effects of homophobia, positive representation in the media, s*x ed for q***r and trans youth, and civil rights protection for all. We encourage all our FAU NOW members to come as they are! ❤️

on thursday we protested against hb-999 and ron desantis’ takeover of our education. we will not go silently.
