We have the pleasure of having Curtis Lawson as one of our panel guests. Curtis is a 37-year-old man with autism and bipolar disorder.
His self-advocating resulted in Curtis living a very independent life.
He is a front service clerk at Publix, a small business senior partner doing online investment and retail, and a Special Olympics team captain.
Also, he is in a committed relationship with his girlfriend.

We have the pleasure of having one of our very own officers, Daniely Lins da Silva, as one of our panel guests. Daniely is a mother of a 12-year-old boy with autism, an 11-year-old boy with Asperger’s syndrome, and a 2-year-old little boy.
She is the founder of non-profit that support Brazilian families with special needs children in South Florida, an autism activist, a former RBT, an undergrad at FAU majoring in ESE, a HOOT student, and the membership chair for FAU SCEC.

Adriana is a 4th- and 5th-grade self-contained ASD teacher.
She has initiated autism walks at her school to bring awareness and acceptance in her local community.
She is a proud FAU alumni, one of the first FAU chapter scec members, and is a strong autism advocate.
