Letter C Scavenger Hunt!

Today we had so much fun going on a Letter C scavenger hunt! The children grabbed their “pencil and pad” and became little letter detectives. They searched around the classroom for pictures that began with the letter C, found each one, and practiced writing Cc on their worksheets.

This activity was a fun way to strengthen letter recognition, beginning sounds, pencil control, and early writing skills while keeping the children actively engaged!

💦🎉 Our Last Splash, Birthday Bash 🎉💦

Last Friday was our final Splash Friday of the summer, and what better way to end it than by celebrating a very special 4th birthday with friends.

We celebrated Autumn turning FOUR! We walked over to the pool, where we spent the morning splashing, playing, laughing, and making sweet summer memories with our friends.

After all that fun in the sun, we headed back to celebrate Autumn with a yummy birthday treat! We sung happy birthday, enjoyed pizza, cupcakes, and ice cream.

We are so thankful for all the fun, laughter, and memories we’ve made during our Splash Fridays this summer. 💙 What a wonderful way to wrap up our summer water fun!

🎉 Happy 4th Birthday, Autumn! We’re still celebrating two weeks later! 😂

Since I haven’t shown off what my Tiny Tots have been up to lately, let me catch you up!

Yesterday, our 3’s practiced their fine motor skills and scissor skills by carefully cutting out the pigs they colored! They worked on holding their scissors correctly, following the lines, and using those little hand muscles to make their cuts. I’m so proud of the progress they’re making! Just look at those smiles.

Hello September!!

We’re kicking off Farm Week with a fun day learning all about pigs! 🐷 Today we talked about where pigs live, practiced writing the letter P, and learned that pigs like to roll around in the mud. The kids had so much fun learning, participating, and sharing what they already know!

I also want to give a BIG shoutout to everyone today! Everyone did such a great job following directions, participating in activities, being kind to their friends, and having a positive day. Each child received a special kudos note today recognizing something they did well. I’m so proud of their growth and the effort they continue to put in each day!

Happy Monday ! 🎨🌈

This week, we’ll be exploring Colors & Creativity! Our little artists will learn about primary and secondary colors, experiment with color mixing, explore different art tools and techniques, and use their creativity to create fun, colorful masterpieces.

Throughout the week, we’ll also work on strengthening our fine motor skills, imagination, problem solving, and expressing ourselves through art. We have lots of fun crafts and creative activities planned!

💗 All About Me Bag! 🛍️

Tomorrow, your child will be bringing home a brown paper bag for our All About Me Bag activity! 🌈
Please help your little one decorate their bag and choose 3 favorite items from home that tell us a little about them. It could be a favorite toy, stuffed animal, book, family picture, or something they love! 🧸📚

We will have fun sharing our bags with our friends and talking about our favorite things!

We can’t wait to learn more about each of our little friends and what makes them special! 🌈

All About Me Week

We’re kicking off All About Me Week by learning all about ourselves, what makes us unique, and the things that make each of us special! 🥰

Yesterday, we talked about what makes us unique and special and shared some of our favorite things to do for fun. The children enjoyed talking about themselves and listening to their friends share, too. We also drew our very own self portraits! The children practiced looking at themselves in the mirror, identifying features such as their hair, eyes, and face, and expressing themselves through art.

📚 Skills We’ll Practice Throughout the month:
🔤 Recognizing letters and beginning letter sounds
🔢 Counting and recognizing numbers
🌈 Identifying and matching colors
✏️ Practicing writing our first names and, when ready, our last names
📝 Recognizing our names
👂 Listening and following simple directions
🗣️ Building vocabulary and expressing our thoughts
🔺 Exploring shapes, patterns, and early math concepts
🤝 Sharing, taking turns, and practicing kindness
💕 Building confidence and learning what makes each of us special

Throughout the month, we’ll add these skills into fun All About Me activities that encourage conversation, creativity, independence, and learning through play.

I’m excited to learn more about each of my Tiny Tots and celebrate the little things that make them uniquely THEM! 🌈💕

Two incredible years have flown by and I couldn't be more excited to celebrate this milestone with all of you!

To my wonderful families, thank you for trusting me with your precious little ones. Your support and love have been the foundation of my journey, and I am honoured to have been a part of your children's growth and development.

Over these few years, we've created countless memories filled with laughter, learning, and joy. From engaging activities to the special bonds we've formed, every moment has been a testament to the vibrant community we are building together.

As I look back with gratitude, I also look forward with hope and enthusiasm. My mission remains the same: to provide a nurturing, eco-friendly environment where children can thrive and grow. Here's to many more years of creating magical moments and cherished memories.
