There’s something humbling about raising our own meat and being part of the whole process from giving an animal a good life and caring for it well, to putting nourishing food on our family’s table. It may be hard work, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. We know where our food came from, we know it was cared for, and we don’t take the sacrifice that provides for our family lightly. Most of all, we’re thankful to God for His provision for the animals, the land, the strength to do the work, and the food He puts on our table. There’s something beautiful about seeing His provision from beginning to end.

Homesteading isn’t always pretty, but it sure is rewarding. 🐇🌱 Today was rabbit freezer-camp day, followed by a crockpot “hot tub” full of garden veggies. Hard work, homegrown food, and a freezer getting a little fuller. So thankful for the life God has given us, the food He provides, and the hands He gave us to work for it. 🙏🏻❤️
