My Bio: I have been in a caring profession (nurse) and am transitioning to postpartum doula work. I have attended a 3 day (27 hr) seminar presented by DONA (Doulas of North America) trainer. I have started the certification process with DONA. My childcare experience includes personal, clinical, volunteer and at church. I am a mother of three grown children and grandmother of two. I am current on CPR, tb skin test, hepatitis b, influenza and pertussis immunizations. My goals are provided non medical nurture/support , to educate the new family and to refer to healthcare professionals issues beyond the scope of a doula.
