Athlete Spotlight 🌟 Meet Morgan!!

Year 2 with the Batchelor Spirit Program!

We had one goal this year — show the staffers the positive culture we’ve created and they did just that! After day 1 we were told our girls are night and day difference from last year!!

BMS spent the week as the only junior high school in attendance, but you would never know! Not only did both of our teams hold their own in their stunting skills, they weren’t afraid to talk to cheerleaders from other teams, make new friends, or start random dance parties everywhere we went. They were a pure joy to be around the entire time. I truly have never had this much fun at cheer camp!

Our competition team performed three routines that I am incredibly proud of! Our cheer looks awesome and it was only motion placement and sharpness that kept us from placing against the JV teams!

Our sideline team received the most improved award and performed a solid pyramid! We got the spirit stick every night! A couple of our girls (Nyla and Kiercy) were chosen as honorary camp princesses (you have to be coming back to the camp next year to be eligible and both of these girls are graduating). Nyla was also chosen by UCA staff for the pin it forward award, and then West Del Varsity pinned Kiercy and Yorktown Varsity pinned Bella!!! 🥹 Two of our 8th graders made All American (Adalee and Kiercy), and two of our 7th graders made All American as well (Serena and Alena)! Adalee also won the jump off in the JV and below division and it was the highlight of the week for us.

14 months since we walked through the doors at BMS and what a difference one year makes. I am so proud of these DAWGS! 🐾
