Tom's one-acre pecan grove has been a "garden of Eden" since 1976. The acre was previously swamp, "water up to your calves." Every fall, family sorts & bags nuts for sale.

Indiana Tree Nuts made their first trip out of the state to learn from regional leader Voss Pecans in Carlyle, Illinois.
In between conversation and note scribbling, project researchers Julia Valliant & Olivia Shoemaker may have even got to try some candies pecans as well.
