The Bandana Project (TBP) is a trademark program that was founded at the University of Wisconsin - Madison campus in January of 2016.

The Green Bandana Project is all about working on supporting a broader approach to transforming the mental health climate among students, staff and their communities, all to help make a difference and SAVE lives, one lime green bandana at a time! The idea was inspired by "Dan's Bandana Project" at UW-River Falls, which asked students to pledge to support others' mental health. Though The Bandana P

This Pride Month, here's something worth sitting with.

Trans and nonbinary youth whose pronouns are respected at home attempt su***de 46% less than those who aren't. That's not a small number. That's nearly half.

Using someone's correct pronouns isn't a political statement, it's a mental health intervention. And it's something every single one of us can do.

Not sure where to start? Ask instead of assuming. Correct yourself when you mess up and move on. Normalize sharing your own pronouns in introductions.

The small stuff adds up. Show up for your people this Pride Month AND every month after. 🌈

Stronger together. 💚

When you see a green bandana, you know it's safe to talk. Proud of this crew for showing up and making that message louder

Mental health is not just a personal journey. It's a community one.

When we check in on each other, start the hard conversations, and create space for people to be honest about how they're doing, we make our communities stronger.

This week, show up for someone in your life. Send the text. Ask the question. And stay for the answer.

Tag someone who shows up for your mental health. 🟢

Call or text 988 if you or someone you know needs support.

There is no wrong time to reach out. You don't have to be in crisis to ask for support. You don't have to have it all figured out before you make the call.

Help can look like talking to a friend, seeing a counselor, calling a warmline, or simply telling someone you trust that you're struggling. Whatever feels right for you is the right place to start.

We all deserve support. 🟢

Call or text 988 any time, any reason.
