For those at home wishing to join us in the writing of letters to congress, here is how you do it! It's very short and simple, pretty much done for you. Once you put in a tiny bit of information ( and list Pantry 279 as the organization ) you can choose to add your personal story ( short version ) or just hit send!

As a follow up from our trip to DC, our district Bread For The World representatives will be at pantry today listening and taking letters of how hunger is affecting you. We welcome them and are eager for everyone to tell them how issues with WIC, SNAP, high costs of food, etc has affected their family.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to IU for allowing us to participate in the Resource Fair. We truly appreciate the opportunity to connect with your third-shift employees and share information about our programs and the services we provide.
It was a pleasure to meet so many members of your team, answer their questions, and let them know how we can support them. Thank you for your hospitality and for helping us reach individuals who may benefit from our programs.
We appreciate your partnership and look forward to future opportunities to work together.

This is the last week of our Children’s Summer Food Program!
Please note that the Bloomington North location has already completed its program and is no longer serving meals.
If your family still needs meals this week, you’re welcome to visit one of our other participating locations while supplies and service continue.
Please be sure to thank our wonderful sponors, The Law Offices of Ken Nunn Law Office, Law Office pf Paul Baugh, Ellettsville House of Prayer, Crossroads Unites Methodist church, Lawrence County Community Foundation, SCI REMC and Jack Hopkins Grant. Without them, we couldn't have served all of the families we did.
