Once upon a lifetime there ‘was’ a music store on Martha’s Vineyard . And in the window hung a guitar . It was known as as the ‘Flying MV’ . Some Folks liked to be photographed with it .

‘Martha’s Music’ was my first store . Then I moved to Boston and wicked at E.U. Wurlitzer where everyone who worked there thought they were friggin Gods -actually one of them turned out to be exactly that . Reeves Gabrels worked in the guitar dept and I worked in repair until they had me manage the front accessories and main sales counter . Reeves came over often and we laughed , shared stories and turned each other into cool music we had discovered. He turned me onto Dwight Yokum . I’m still thankful for that . But then things moved on I became a dad and moved to New Hampshire to live in an old farmhouse and be a dad . He moved to London and his wife had him meet David Bowie . The rest is , how they say’ . …. History .

Everytime I see this photo . Every single time .

. I think we’re doing ok Maybe we owe it all to ‘good country living? . We will start that in about 10 days when we are heading east . lol

 . It’s been awhile since we’ve owned our own homes and we are not exactly looking forward to doing it again …so it’s a ‘rent to own ‘ situation. If it doesn’t work out I think we can find our way back🤪. .

I’d love to ride more again like I used to ,,and actually Beth is no accomplished equestrian either . We just were visiting her mom and this beautiful Fresian equine named Bjorn who lives in the backyard barn . Its owner , Joe Roa was nice enough to give Beth a few lessons. He’s an awesome man!

This degree taught me that colleges,while possible fun, and occasionally interesting, are no different than Walmart.

But there is a plus here a degree in a prospective employer, you are trainable. Isn’t that right’Brad Landsman?
