ACCEPT differences. UNDERSTAND behavior. LOVE someone with AUTISM.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that limits a person's social interaction and communication. Individuals with ASDs also have restricted range of interests and often have difficulty learning how to perform everyday activities. We can all spread the word about Autism to help with early detection so that proper special education can be addressed and provided to our children. Also, with this effort, other children will also learn the importance of acceptance, understanding and love for someone with Autism. For more information, visit: http://www.autismnj.org

Children thrive and become successful when they are supported the right way and placed in a non-discriminating environment. I am so proud of my son who thrive even in the most challenging times! I am grateful for the people who continue to be part of this journey. Remember that, for any child with or without Autism, what s/he is today doesn't define her/his future!
