The Teddy Bear’s Quiet Hug

Toby the teddy bear had one job.

To give the best bedtime hugs.

Every night, he wrapped his soft arms tight.

Not too tight.
Just right.

He listened to sleepy breaths.

And when his friend drifted off…

Toby rested too.

Hugs make bedtime easier.

The End.

The Snail Who Took His Time

Nico the snail was never in a hurry.

While others rushed to bed, Nico slid slowly along a leaf.

The night air felt cool.

The stars felt close.

By the time he reached his cozy shell…

he was already sleepy.

Sometimes going slow makes sleep come faster.

The End.

The Candle Who Loved the Dark

Callie the candle liked the daytime…

…but she loved the dark.

Because that’s when she could shine.

At bedtime, she flickered softly on the nightstand.

Not too bright.
Not too dim.

Just enough to make the room feel cozy.

When the wind whispered, Callie rested her flame.

The room was still warm with her glow.

The End.

The Star That Blinked

Twinkle the star loved to blink.

On.
Off.
On again.

But tonight, she blinked slower.

The sky grew quiet.

The Moon smiled.

“Even stars rest,” she said.

Twinkle gave one last glow…

…and stayed softly lit all night.

The End.

The Sock That Went Missing

Sandy the sock couldn’t find her pair.

She looked under the bed.
Behind the chair.
Inside the basket.

But bedtime came.

So Sandy curled up in a warm drawer and waited.

In the morning, her pair was right beside her.

Sometimes things return when we rest.

The End.

The Balloon That Didn’t Want to Pop

Benny the balloon loved floating.

Up high.
Down low.
Side to side.

But one night, the wind whispered, “Time to rest.”

“I don’t want to pop,” Benny said nervously.

“You won’t,” said the breeze gently.

So Benny floated down beside a cozy bed and stayed very still.

Resting didn’t mean popping.

It just meant bedtime.

The End.

The Raindrop’s First Fall

Drip was a tiny raindrop in a big gray cloud.

He had never fallen before.

“It looks far down there,” he said.

The cloud gave him a gentle nudge.

Down he floated.

Past birds.
Past rooftops.
Past waving trees.

Splash!

Drip landed softly in a puddle and saw the sky smiling back at him.

Falling wasn’t scary.

It was an adventure.

The End.

The Cookie Who Didn’t Want to Crumble

Coco the cookie sat on a plate at bedtime.

“All day I’ve been strong,” she said.
“But I feel crumbly.”

The other cookies smiled.

“Everyone needs rest,” they said.

Coco snuggled into a soft napkin blanket.

She didn’t crumble.

She simply rested.

And in the morning, she felt whole again.

The End.

The Rocket That Was Afraid to Zoom

Rory the little rocket sat on the launch pad.

All the big rockets zoomed loudly into space.

But Rory felt nervous.

“What if I’m too small?” he whispered.

The Moon glowed softly above him.

“You don’t have to zoom fast,” she said. “Just go at your own speed.”

So Rory lifted off gently.

Whoooosh… not too loud.
Not too fast.

And when he reached the stars, they twinkled just for him.

Small rockets can shine brightly too.

The End.
