Over 60% said it’s their number one focus. Achievement gaps and absenteeism followed.

The data is clear: engagement is not only a priority but is being recognized as the foundation for other outcomes. Achievement, attendance, and behavior are often symptoms of a deeper root cause—whether students are authentically engaged in learning.
