Blind loyalty has really damaged many people spiritually ehh!

Some people defend wrong teachings with their full chest simply because it came from a particular man of God or teacher. Whatever he preaches or teaches is valid nonmatter what.

But that's not what God mandated us. God never asked us to abandon the spirit of discernment in us as believers.

The funny part is that it is labelled being "SPIRITUALLY MATURED😂" and then coated with the lies that questioning a teaching for fact checks means questioning God. Ezigbote ashi ocha! Did you ever read Paul's commendation of the Berean church??

`Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and EXAMINED THE SCRIPTURES EVERY DAY TO SEE IF WHAT PAUL SAID WAS TRUE.` - Acts 17:11 NIV

Why didn't Paul call them immature or people who don't believe in the word??

The answer is simple; Because spiritual maturity is rather 'not following personalities blindly' sir. It is rather following truth faithfully. And you can only know a truth when it survives healthy fact checking.

A good teacher of the word should point people toward God and not make people dependent on him/her alone. This is not limited to pastors alone, kindly note.

We should cultivate the act of being open towards asking and receiving questions BUT the BIG problem is HOW MANY CHRISTIANS STILL HAVE TIME TO SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES?? 🤦 You have your answer!

Oyi uwa ekwezigi ka men mepe akwukwo nso (Coldness has stopped us from opening the Holy scriptures)

Did you know that a platform can grow while the spirit diminishes? Ehh!

I once spoke with someone who had a strong passion for the Bible teaching niche. Each day, she hunted for content ideas, analyzed trends, crafted posts, observed what other creators were doing, and really exerted great effort to remain relevant.

But at some point, she became so occupied with discussing the Bible that she lost the time to engage with it for herself.

Her content was growing, she has a great content marketing understanding and ofcourse her platform was prospering. Yes, that was the reason I reached out to her because man gast learn too.

Unfortunately, her personal connection with God was quietly diminishing.

She shared this story and how she was able to get back to her feet with me in the cost of our conversation and I learnt from it.

It was a harsh reminder that creating Bible-related content does not mean truly knowing God.

We should never allow the ministry to replace the Master. Nor let the platform disturb the significance of prayer and personal engagement.

I hope this post ministers to you!
See you in the next one!

To my father and all father figures in my life, thank you for your training, support, prayers and protection.

When I was much younger, my dad gave me no room for messing up. He can NEVER spare the rod. In fact that portion of the scriptures was for myself and my dad all through my childhood days that it got to a point where I questioned his truly being my biological father😔.

But as I grew older, I began to appreciate all the things I used to consider maltreatment, and overzealous punishments. They installed the person I am today in me. Trust me when I say that my adolescent age could have been a mess if not for his fatherly influence.

We mostly misunderstand our fathers when we are much younger but growing up, we understand that we had the best times being their kids.

Happy Father's Day!
Thank you for the provisions, corrections, care and protection.
God bless y'all fathers in the world!

Shalom 🤍✌️

So someone asked me a question concerning the last post I made in a certain group. She asked:

"If the algorithm is not my assignment, does that mean I should ignore strategy, marketing, and the growth of my audience?"

My response? No!

When I said "the algorithm is not your assignment" it's not an excuse for poor stewardship at all.

The fact remains that algorithm is a tool, not a master. Yes, strategy and excellence matters. Understanding your audience too matter well well.

Even Jesus used strategy naw, He taught a lot in parables, used specific locations, and even sent His disciples to some particular people. That was his strategy.

The problem actually begins when uncle Mark's or brother Elon's algorithm starts determining your message instead of helping you deliver it.

You go need use strategy, but no compromise truth sake of reach.
Learn how to market, but don't make the numbers your identity.
Take time to study the algorithm, but NEVER you become its servant.

The simple summary is that your assignment comes straight from God while the algorithm is simply one of the channels through which that assignment can travel to the audience.

Faithfulness and akonuche (wisdom) are not enemies. The goal is not to choose between your purpose and the strategy to fulfill it, but to ensure that the strategy serves purpose and not the other way round.

Dear Christian creator,

The algorithm is not your assignment. I learned this the hard way😞

There came a time, I measured my success by likes, shares, and reach. I adjusted my assignment to please the algorithm instead of obeying the calling. Infact, I believed the widening audience was a proof of being on course.

Then I realized something. God never called me to go viral, He only called me to be faithful with the assignment.

Fact would always remain that Algorithms change, but Assignments don't and can never. Therefore create what God has placed in your heart and serve the people He sent you to serve. Let the numbers do whatever they want. Don't focus on the later.

Never sacrifice your assignment on the altar of the algorithm. You will definitely be on a free lane to failure. Ututu Oma 🌅

Most Christian creatives don't have a content problem, mba! They mostly have an identity problem.

Many are really busy trying to influence people before even understanding who they are in Christ. They run after trends, algorithms, and applause, but neglect the major foundation of their calling.

Your greatest creative advantage is not your talent, not your consistency, nor even your "50 billion" audience size, it's knowing who exactly God has called you to be.

When identity is clear, content becomes authentic.
When purpose is clear kwanu, influence becomes truly natural.

What's the bottom line of my message? Don't build a platform before building your identity. You will be lost!

When I saw the legendary Emeka Ike at the Ratels protest yesterday, a thought quickly crossed my mind.

We had so many beautiful and peaceful childhood memories, interesting home movies, great music, memorable day and night games with friends, and most especially, long-distance road travels.

I can remember the first time I traveled from Aba to Lagos as a child. I was so excited that I wrote down the names of every city and state we passed through until we saw, “This is Lagos.”

There was no fear of being kid₦appd or kpaied. Traveling was actually an adventure, not a risk. Let's not even talk about the not of telling your classmates your travel experience.

Sadly, today's children can hardly relate to how peaceful and enjoyable long-distance travel used to be. They have been denied that experience by a system that has allowed criminals and bandits to take over our roads and steal the peace of innocent travelers.

Today, before hitting the road on a journey, many of us Nigerians pray as though we are preparing for our final journey. Being unsure of what lies ahead, yet hopeful that we will arrive safely.

It is heartbreaking that our leaders have paid almost no attention to addressing this worsening insecurity, leaving ordinary citizens at the mercy of these blood-sucking demons who terrorize not just our highways, but also our communities.

The recent kidnapping of schoolchildren in Oyo State and how reluctant this government has been over it is yet another painful reminder of how far we have fallen. Children who should be concerned about their education and dreams are now forced to live under the shadow of fear. Tufiakwa!

There was indeed a country.

Stop Banditry Now!
Stop Kid₦appin Now!
Stop the Kpaings Now!

Shalom 🤍 ✌️
