🎉 What an incredible time we had during our Summer Sessions 1 and 2! 🎉

Our students had a blast building solar ovens and making their own s’mores—watching temperatures rise to 137°F!🔥🍫 They put their Sphero bots to the test in an exciting balloon battle arena to see who would be the last one standing🤖🎈, and even got a behind-the-scenes look at how Dippin’ Dots are made using liquid nitrogen❄️🧪.

Students explored weather phenomena and built their own weather stations🌦️, experimented with block coding using LEGO Spike Prime, and took on the challenge of extracting nonrenewable resources through cookie mining🍪⛏️.

It was amazing to see their creativity, teamwork, and excitement as they explored, built, experimented, and learned together. We loved having each and every one of them with us—thank you for making Sessions 1 and 2 such a huge success!💙

🚀🔬 Our homeschool groups had an incredible time at STARBASE Blackstone! Students explored the exciting world of STEAM through hands-on learning, creativity, and teamwork.
From investigating physical and chemical properties and changes to exploring force and motion through engaging experiments, every day was packed with discovery and excitement. 🧪💡

Students also dove into robotics, coding, and programming using LEGO Spike Prime, Sphero, and littleBits technology, building problem-solving, critical thinking, and engineering skills along the way. 🤖💻

One of the highlights was testing buoyancy by building boats and designing bridges — combining science, engineering, and imagination through real-world challenges! 🌉⚙️

We are so grateful for opportunities like these that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in our students. A special thank you to the amazing chaperones and parents for faithfully bringing students each day and supporting this unforgettable experience! ✨
