Last week CMAA hosted Paul Ely, the associate director for capital construction and renovations at Virginia Tech. He spoke about the development of a project and about all the exciting projects happening here at VT!
Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), Virginia Tech Student Chapter.
The CMAA Virginia Tech Student Chapter aims to create an identity for construction management students, to expose students to professional aspects of the industry, to interact with our host regional chapter (National Capital Chapter in Washington, DC metro area), and to develop leadership skills in student members.

Interested in taking the CMIT Exam?
The CMIT stands for Construction Manager in Training and is one of the only professional certifications specifically within the field of construction management. Much like how the FE leads to becoming a PE, the CMIT leads to becoming a CCM (Certified Construction Manager). This certification continues to grow in popularity within the industry and is a great opportunity for you to prove to future employers that you are committed to having a successful career within the field of construction management.
