As many of you are no doubt aware, Virginia Tech has decided to extend spring break by a week and move all classes online in an attempt to help stop COVID-19 from spreading. As a result, we will be canceling next week's meeting (originally scheduled for 03/17).

We are still discussing what our plans will be regarding future meetings and we will hopefully have an update regarding that soon.

Virginia lawmakers pass protections for LGBTQ people RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia lawmakers passed comprehensive anti-discrimination legislation Thursday that advocates said makes the state the first in the South to enact such protections for LGBTQ people.

Dear members and friends of TransSpace,

Thank you for your support and involvement in TransSpace! The currently elected student officers have heard from members like you that some things need to change. Since we were elected, we have been working very hard to make these changes. Some of these changes include changing the name of the organization and the meeting dates and times! The new name will be True Colors to highlight more inclusivity to all of our identities and show our dedication to creating a new start.
