BRF School Forest 5K Run/Walk

We are excited to host our 6th Annual School Forest Fun Run! It has helped raise funds to cover the cost of supplies and bus transportation for the students in the Black River Falls School District. This year our goal is to raise money to fund transportation and supplies; we also hope to raise enough money to make repairs on our school forest shelter. With funding being cut we need to find differe

nt options to raise money to continue these activities for our students. We hope that you would be generous enough to help us continue our 6th Annual School Forest Fun Run and assist us in raising money for our students. Approximately 800 students visit and learn at the school forest every year. We hope to continue these exceptional outdoor educational experiences for our students. Our school forest is utilized year round by K-12 students. Some activities the students participate in begin with environmental exploration of the forest nature paths and pond. As the students continue to grow they learn about Wisconsin forest history and participate in Lumberjack Olympics. The school forest also acts as a classroom for our BRAGS charter school students where they learn and lead activities for younger children.
