Today, some of our Bisbee Band Kids had the opportunity to attend Virtual Band Day at the University of Arizona via Zoom.

Although this is not the ending to the school year we had anticipated, it was still a great year. We worked hard, learned a lot, and had a great time. Many of the highlights of the 2019-2020 school year include our first year back as a marching band, band camp, performing halftime shows, sending our saxes to Sax Day at the University of Arizona, and all our many performances throughout the year. We thank everyone so much for their unconditional support.

We would like to recognize three people in our band, our three seniors Gina, Jessie, and Carlos.

Gina plays tenor saxophone and is the BHS Band Vice President. She will be attending Arizona State University in the Fall, majoring in Interdisciplinary Arts and Performance at ASU New College.

Jessie plays baritone saxophone and is the BHS Band President and Drum Major. She will be attending the University of Arizona in the fall, majoring in Music Education at the UofA Fred Fox School of Music.

Carlos plays tenor saxophone in the BHS Band. He plans to work after high school, and eventually enter the medical field and become a cardiologist.

Congratulations to our Class of 2020 band seniors. We’re proud of you, and we know you’ll do great things.

Here is a video of the entire performance by the Bisbee High School band! It was a great way to end the decade. Congratulations to each and every student who performed, and congratulations to our Drum Major, Jessie Feller, for being accepted into the University of Arizona High School Honor Band! 🐾❤️🎶

Our Christmas concert will be tonight at 6:45pm in the Lowell Junior High School auditorium! Come out and support our kids during their last performance of the decade! There will be performances by the Bisbee High School Band, Choir, and Guitar Ensemble, as well as the Lowell Junior High Band. Can’t wait to see you there!
