SMA is now accepting abstracts for the 4th Annual Virtual Abstract Competition (VAC), taking place the week of August 3, 2026.
This preliminary, fully virtual competition is open to medical students, residents, and fellows and offers a valuable opportunity to showcase research and clinical work. The top 16 oral presentations will advance to present in person at SMA’s Annual Scientific Assembly in Houston, Texas (November 6–7, 2026), where participants will compete for monetary awards.
