Big dreams start with a kindergarten promotion ceremony!

Today, FPA Birmingham celebrated 43 of the most adorable graduates we've ever seen, our Kindergarten Class of 2038. These learners walked across the stage with the biggest smiles and the biggest futures ahead of them.

Thank you to the teachers who poured their hearts into our kiddos every single day, and to the families who cheered them on from day one. You are their greatest cheerleaders! 🧡

A very special thank you to Green Liberty Baptist Church for opening your doors and hosting our graduating class. We are so grateful!

Watch out, world... the Class of 2038 is just getting started!

In observance of Memorial Day, all Freedom Prep campuses and offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. We pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 26. We look forward to welcoming our students back after the holiday.

Learning extends beyond the classroom at Freedom Prep Birmingham.

Recently, students participated in a field lesson at Miles College, where they explored campus life, met students and professors, and experienced the overall college experience. Opportunities like these help students envision their future and take meaningful steps toward their goals.

At Freedom Prep, our mission is to prepare all students in grades PreK-12 to excel in college and in life. Experiences like this bring that mission to life by exposing students to new possibilities and helping them see themselves on a path to higher education.
