Jeremy is an easy person to cheer for. From day one, he has exemplified patience, determination, and a positive attitude. Join us in wishing him all the best as he walks through the doors the GED will open to him.

Suha is a wonderful example of persistence, dedication, and hard work. Growing up, she never studied US history or US government, both of which are necessary to pass the Social Studies section of her GED. Though it wasn't easy, she stuck with it and finally passed! Congratulations to Suha!

Lacresia first started attending The Learning Center in the summer of 2023. She has put in the time and effort and last week was her time to put that final checkmark on the wall. Lacresia passed all four sections of the GED and earned her diploma! She plans to attend Lawson State Community College and futher her education. Congratulations, Lacresia! We are proud of you.

Cabrina walked into The Learning Center with a joyful smile on her face and announced she passed her math test and earned her GED! Cabrina said she was with a friend when she received her passing score and cried tears of happiness. Cabrina is looking forward to exploring a whole new world of career opportunities now that she has her diploma. Congratulations, Cabrina! We are so proud of your determination and for not giving up.

We are so happy to announce that Rod has earned his GED! Rod spent the last 7 months in our GED classes. His teachers taught him the material he needed to know and instilled in him the confidence he needed to move forward with testing. Now that Rod has earned his diploma, he intends to take classes to become an HVAC technician. Congratulations, Rod! You did the hard work, and we are all so proud of you.

MJ arrived in America two years ago from Senegal. His first language is French, and he has been learning to speak English since his arrival. MJ was recruited to play basketball by a college in Georgia, but had one hurdle to face, which seemed impossible because of his language barrier. He needed a GED. MJ contacted The Learning Center in January and studied for the next six months. To the amazement of all, MJ passed all four sections of the GED and earned his GED yesterday. He made the deadline to register for college, which begins in a few weeks. MJ didn't let a new country or a new language stand in his way of pursuing his dreams. Congratulations, MJ. We'll be looking for you on the basketball court.
