Dr. Booth is a BTS graduate (among other seminaries) and our primary teaching assistant for the BTS graduate students at Bibb Correctional. We're so grateful for God's work of grace in Russell's life and how he is pouring that back into other inmates!

We still need to raise $50,000 to cover our work at Bibb this year! This amount includes our Director, paying all the faculty that drive out to teach weekly (some over and hour and a half!), including mileage stipends, books, supplies, and all administrative needs.

We had a wonderful time this evening with some of our new Doctoral Students at Birmingham Theological Seminary in our online Doctor of Ministry orientation session tonight! Students from Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Panama, California, Taiwan and the Philippines all were online together! Represented here are some of the students in our Pastoral Leadership, Church Vitality and Multiplication, and our Biblical Counseling Tracks! We also run a track in Public Theology and are launching a new track in Chaplaincy next year! Love the BTS student body and our doctoral studies team! Interested in joining? Just shoot us a note!

We are so excited to have Dr. Ken Stewart of Covenant College join us to teach Presbyterian Church History in Birmingham, AL this fall! This will be a unique "hybrid intensive" class model. Students will spend one Sat a month in discussion and dialogue, starting Sat, Sept 7 and ending on Sat, Dec 7. This unique delivery allows students to keep their evenings free!

This class is "LIVE IN-PERSON!" at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, PCA and is available for all degree programs that have history credits and specifically for students in the Divinity program in the PCA and those taking the Presbyterian Leadership Certificate.
