Parents and Students-
I am sad to let you know that I will be leaving Oliver at the end of this week. I have accepted a new position in Birmingham City Schools. I am honored to have served as your principal for the past five years, and I will truly miss all of the wonderful students and families at Oliver. In order to find the next principal, there will be a Community Forum next Monday night at 5:30. The purpose of this meeting is to give you a chance to give input about what you want in your next principal. Please make plans to attend so that you can share your thoughts and ideas about what our students need to keep moving forward. Oliver Elementary will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish nothing but the best for all OES students, parents, teachers, and staff members!
Love,
Dr. Florence
