More than two decades in public education have prepared Samford alumnus Chad Holden, EdD ’18, for his next chapter. 👏
Beginning July 1, Holden will serve as executive director of the Alabama Association of School Boards, bringing experience as a teacher, principal, superintendent, school board member and parent to education advocacy across the state.
A graduate of Samford’s Orlean Beeson School of Education, Holden says his passion for public education has always been rooted in shaping lives, building relationships and investing in future generations.
“The best thing that we can give to future generations is an educated public.”
Join us in congratulating Chad on this exciting new role!
