☀️🙏🏽 PUSH PULL AND PRAY — MONDAY MOTIVATION 🙏🏽☀️
💛 I don’t know who needs to hear this message today, but I pray it reaches the right person at the right time.
☂️ MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT UMBRELLA
Think about what an umbrella does.
When the rain starts falling, an umbrella doesn’t necessarily stop the rain it helps cover you while you walk through it.
That’s a picture of life.
We all experience storms. We all have rainy seasons. There will be moments when things don’t happen the way we expected. But when we put our trust in God, we can have peace knowing that His presence is with us through the storm.
☂️ The umbrella represents COVERING.
The rain can represent the trials, disappointments, setbacks, and unexpected things we experience in life.
Just like you have to open an umbrella and stay underneath it for it to help protect you from the rain, spiritually we have to stay close to God, trust His Word, pray, and follow His instructions.
God never promised that the rain wouldn’t fall, but He promised to be with us through the storm. 🙏🏽
📖 Psalm 91:1
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
🎂 NOW THINK ABOUT THIS: LIFE IS LIKE BAKING A CAKE.
If the directions on the cake box say add 2 eggs, but you decide to use only 1 egg, you can’t blame the instructions when the cake doesn’t rise correctly or when it rises and then falls.
You changed the recipe.
Sometimes we do the same thing in life. We want God’s results, but we don’t always want to follow all of His instructions.
You can have the gifts.
You can have the vision.
You can have the opportunity.
You can even have all the ingredients.
But FOLLOWING GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS MATTERS!
📖 Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
☂️ Stay under God’s covering.
🎂 Follow His instructions.
⬆️ Rise and keep rising!
🙏🏽 Trust Him through the entire process.
Just because it's raining doesn't mean God has forgotten you. And just because the cake isn't ready yet doesn't mean it isn't rising.
