We are recruiting parents of children age 5-13 for a fully online research study about school refusal.

We are aiming to learn more about the experiences of both autistic and nonautistic children who resist or avoid attending school consistently and may have anxiety or distress related to school. We hope this study will help improve assessment and intervention for these children and their families.

Eligible participants who complete the study (including 30-60 minutes of online surveys and a 30-45 minute Zoom interview) will each receive an e-giftcard (see flyer for details).

So many of our undergraduate students attended the NYSABA conference with doctoral student, Kelly, and amazing staff Makayla. Kelly & Makayla also gave stellar presentations on strategies for building empathic and supportive relationships with children! As you can see the team has been busy this Fall!

Do you provide support services to neurodivergent individuals (e.g., those on the autism spectrum, with intellectual disability, ADHD, etc.)? We want to hear from you!

We are recruiting people who may be interested in our online research study, looking at causes of burnout among direct care service providers. The purpose is to identify workplace stressors that lead to burnout. The survey will take about 10 - 25 minutes of your time to complete and is completely anonymous. You will have the opportunity to be entered into up to two independent drawings for a $25 gift card.
