Art Educator Position Requirements;

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or a related field.
• Experience in implementing a set curriculum planning tailored for various age groups.
• Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Experience with classroom management and/ or providing individualized support to students is beneficial.
• Familiarity with private school settings is advantageous but not required.

Key Skills and Classroom Ethos
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students effectively.
• Implement a "no waste" culture in the classroom.

Preferred qualifications:
• 2 years of teaching experience
• Teaching certificate
• Familiarity with private school settings is advantageous but not required.

Pay is dependent upon experience.

When looking at your artwork or a reference image, squint your eyes. This blurs the details and helps you see the basic shapes, values (light and dark tones), and colors more easily. It is particularly useful for ensuring your overall composition and value structure are working correctly.
