Billings! Once again we are reaching out to ask for your support. Mrs. Lisa Terry is a Family Consumer Science Teacher at Laurel High School teaching life and professional skills that prepare students for careers in the culinary and hospitality industries – fields that are desperately in need of qualified workers. Additionally, Mrs. Terry leads the ProStart Program at Laurel High School. The ProStart Program is a nationwide, two-year high school program that teaches culinary techniques and management skills using an industry-driven curriculum that provides real-life experience opportunities and builds practical skills. Since Mrs. Terry began teaching at Laurel High School there has been a significant increase in student enrolment both in her class and the ProStart Program. With an increase in demand comes an increase in cost. Mrs. Terry is seeking funding to assist with the cost of branded chef coats and travel/hotel expenses required for the ProStart Program, knife sets, food to be used for cooking in her eight classes and upgraded equipment for her classroom. To accomplish her goals, Mrs. Terry needs our help. Classroom Contributor is once again reaching out to you, the Billings Community, to raise funds to support our teachers and students. Amazing!! So grateful to everyone who contributed to Tori Wardrip's Creative Courage program. Not only did we meet our fundraising goal within 24 hours, we have now exceeded it. Addressing the Mental Health Challenges of our kids head-on is so critical. Particularly with social media and the challenges we've faced in the last year. The fact we were able to reach our fundraising goal in less than 24 hours speaks volumes about our city and our community. Billings! Once again we are reaching out to ask for your support. Tori Wardrip is an Art Teacher at Billings West High School that runs a program called Creative Courage. Creative Courage is a school-based support group designed to help teens use artmaking and mindfulness as a healthy coping mechanism for depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other mental health concerns (Click on the link to watch Tori introduce the program).Tori successfully ran this program when she taught at Lewis and Clark and is now relaunching it at Billings West. She has so much she wants to do with Creative Courage but lacks the funding to do it. This is where you come in! Please help Tori help our students by donating what ever you can to her Creative Courage program. Donations will be used to purchase art supplies, create mental health awareness campaigns on campus and in the community, fund an end-of-program student art exhibition, and curriculum development. Billings community raises over $1,400 for hydroponics system for Ben Steele Middle School BILLINGS - Over $1,400 was raised by the Billings community to purchase a hydroponics growing system for Ben Steele Middle School.

With the help of the community 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 and several local business partners 👩‍💼, Classroom Contributor successfully raised over $1,400 for our last K-12 classroom fundraising project.
