Let’s talk about the BBHS Alumni Lunch for a minute… ☀️

We tried the cheese-stuffed artichoke heart and WOW… 🔥! Served family style with carne asada nachos, shrimp cocktail shooters to a 💣club sandwich, there was no shortage of amazing foods and drinks.

We spent the afternoon by the lake—sunshine, great bites, and even better company. 🐻

A Big Bear Homecoming 🐻❤️

What a special moment at the BBHS Summer Social 2026! We were so happy to see Jim and Joan Eminger, BBHS Class of 1960, joining fellow alumni at Wyatt’s for an evening of music, food, laughter and memories. After all these years, some connections never fade. ❤️🐻 He even brought his class yearbook.

The Eminger Family & Big Bear

The Eminger family has deep roots in Big Bear. Ernest, Francis, John and Jimmy Eminger moved to Big Bear in 1943, becoming part of the community during Big Bear’s early growth. The family operated Eminger & Sons Bear Valley Market, a longtime local business. John Eminger went on to become Big Bear Lake’s first mayor in 1980, while the family continued to contribute to the community through business and civic involvement.
