You’re probably asking yourself, “Who is this handsome devil?” Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Buddy. I’m single and always ready to mingle. I guess I’m what some might call a “social butterfly” because I really love having company around…two-legged and four-leg

ged…I don’t discriminate! I used to stroll the streets of Compton, lonely as can be but now I’m in a foster home with a lady who is in charge of the food and the bed, so I give her lots of love and make her laugh with my silliness. She has two kinda old and lazy dogs, so when we’re home, we all just hang out and chill. To get some of my puppy energy out, the lady takes me to doggie kindergarten where I get to play and play and play with lots of dogs of all sizes. The teacher gives me all A’s ‘cause I play nicely, never fight, and give kisses all around. Life is pretty sweet right now, and the only thing that would make it better is if I could find a family to call my very own. And if they have a dog or two in that family, ooooohhh, I would be in heaven! Won’t you help this Buddy out and tell your friends about me, so I can find my true love?

I know it’s been a while but I’ve been busy having a great life with my dad. He takes me to doggie daycare (that’s where they dressed me up for Halloween), to the park, and we explore downtown LA a lot more now that I’m a brave boy!! Thanks to everyone who helped find me a home and donated for my care while I was in foster homes. Have a wonderful week! I know I will!! Love, Buddy ❤️

Buddy Adopted!
We are so happy that Buddy has found himself the perfect buddy. Buddy came to us from the streets of Compton via the pound and into Forte's rescue family. Two foster homes and many adoption events later, he has found a true bromance with his new dad. Buddy's dad found him online and biked 14 miles (28 round trip) to meet him soon after. After a couple more getting to know you dates, we knew it was meant to be. Buddy moved into the heart of downtown and straight into the heart of his new dad. Downtown is a noisy and busy place and Buddy had a bit of trouble adjusting. But his dad has been patient and committed to helping him get over his fears. He goes to the park every day and the nearby dog parks for some play time so our social boy can get to know his neighbors and play play play. We're so happy Buddy has found someone all his own!
