Vision Quest is an exciting two-week service project and leadership development program for up and coming high school leaders. The program is designed to challenge participants to develop their faith and leadership ability through internal guidance, service, and outdoor ad
venture. To help kick our program off and pay for initial fees, we have established a fee of $200 to attend Vision Quest. Vision Quest consists of a few major components. The first component is a leadership and educational workshop where we lay the foundation for our trip. During this time we will also do some fundraising in order for us to have the necessary funds to make this trip happen. This three-day fundraising period will leave our participants feeling like they’ve really earned their right to this journey. Participants will be challenged to step outside of their comfort zones and learn to be leaders. The second component is a service project in a National Park. Here the participants will learn the importance of putting the needs of others ahead of themselves and of contributing to the community around them. The last component is outdoor adventure. We will be camping throughout the whole trip and experiencing God’s love and beauty through nature. As of now, our plan is to hike in the Presidential Mountain Range in New Hampshire where we will be sure to enjoy many awesome views. We, the Vision Quest Team, invite you to join us on our adventure! DATES FOR 2017
Our dates for Summer 2017 will be June 30th until July 16th. Accepted participants will be given an address to meet at on June 30th before 6PM. We will serve dinner for participants around 6PM. According to our tentative schedule, we will be sleeping at that same address on the night of 7/15 so parents may pick their children up any time on the 16th.
