DARN, Bexley, OH (2026)

Through various programs, fundraisers and outreach, DARN raises dollars and gathers community resources to distribute to those children and families who need it most. We meet many different needs as they arise, but most often, we provide assistance with the following:

- Scholarships for children to attend summer camp, enrichment and recreation programs
- School needs, such as assistance with scho

ol supplies, pictures, tutoring, transportation, pay to play fees for sports, musical instrument rental and field trip fees
- Clothing and/or furniture for families
- Assistance with utilities, as a stop-gap measure
- Bicycles, locks, helmets and bike licenses
- Food and gift cards at holidays and other times of need
- Connecting families with community services agencies for ongoing support

While summer is in full swing, DARN is preparing for something that happens months from now—our annual Holiday Giving Program.
Every year, our community comes together to help ensure that local children and families can experience the joy of the holiday season. But that work doesn't begin in December—it begins now! From July 20–31, we're celebrating Christmas in July, a special campaign to build the first wave of support for this year's Holiday Giving Program.
Your gift today helps us to lay the foundation for a successful drive! There is also an option for you to set up a monthly or yearly recurring donation if you’d like to be a sustaining supporter of DARN’s work!

DARN will be participating in this Saturday’s Green Bexley Clean Up & Take Back Day. Bring your gently used bicycle (all sizes and types needed) to the drive thru drop off on Delmar Dr (near the Bexley PD), and DARN will unload it and rehome it with a local family. It’s a great way to celebrate Earth Week AND support your local community!

DARN is seeking donations of Bexley Spiritwear! Items can be general Bexley-wear or school specific. All sizes, children and adult, are welcome! Collection bins will be placed at all school buildings April 13-24. Thank you for your support!
