"Educating about the natural world to improve the quality of our lives!"
A family based reptile education organization offering live animals for events across MA and New England. Rainforest Reptile Shows brings exciting, hands-on reptile and animal encounters to your location! Perfect for birthday parties, schools, libraries, fairs, camps, corporate events, scout meetings, colleges, and more across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and throughout New England. We are one of the only institutions licensed to bring an alligator to programs in Massachusetts! With 30+ years in business and 150+ years of expertise, we train law enforcement on proper and safe reptile handling and capture nationwide and even internationally. The animals used in our programming come from previously negative situations like confiscations by law enforcement, illegally owned pets, abuse cases, or unwanted animals. Our goal is inspire everyone about the importance of the natural world, especially our scaly friends! Fully licensed, insured, and staff are CORI/SORI checked. Safety, education, and animal wellbeing are our top priorities. The premier kids entertainers! Join us in our daily adventures and in conjunction working with RRS Oasis, a 501(c)3 animal sanctuary!

How did the invasive Burmese Python problem in the Everglades actually start? Its not what a lot of people think.

We get this question all the time while out at our events!

Rattlesnake rattles not only sometimes break off, but they come in different shapes and sizes. Did you know they could be so small?

We dont do this work for anything other than the animals. This was all started back in 1993 by our co-founders Michael and Joaney. Over the years, 10,000s of animals have come through our doors. Our team always jumps at the chance to help these creatures especially after many have been living in hoarding situations, abuse cases, and so much more. This goes from 20ft snakes to cobras, to even Leopard Geckos. We are always there whenever we can.

In addition, the funding for this work comes directly from us. Only about 1-3% of the total funding for RRS Oasis comes from private donations. The remaining balance comes from Rainforest Reptile Shows and the educational programs we offer.

We do this for the love of the animals.

We are beyond thankful for everyone who continually follows and supports the work we do everyday.

What does Kaboom Viper venom actually do?

This is one of 5 different Gaboon Vipers housed at RRS Oasis, a non profit animal refuge. These animals were previously owned illegally possessed exotic pets. They were seized by law enforcement and placed under RRS Oasis' care. RRS Oasis has over 100 venomous reptiles in their care ranging many different species.

Would you slay the dragon to save the princess? We think the dragon is cuter 😍

This is one of our rescue Leopard Geckos. This friend came into us all skin and bones with developmental issues. They are doing much better now!

Crocodile loose in Long Island, NY? When you are on a nature walk on the island and you come across a crocodile, you know its going to be a weird day.

We are so glad this little sclay friend is with us now. Over time, we will work on conditioning this little guy to being comfortable and confident around people. He may be used as an ambassador based on his temperament and comfortability.

We are so happy that our law enforcement officer training and instructional courses make a difference for these scaly creatures. Officers do an amazing job and really care about these creatures. Thank you to all who were involved to make sure this guy made it out safe and sound!
