Cub Scout Pack 47 is located in Shamong, NJ. Our Pack meetings are held monthly. Cub Scout Motto: DO YOUR BEST! Not to mention the boys love it!

The Cub Scout Pack has boys in K to 5th grade from Shamong, Indian Mills, and Southampton, NJ. The Pack is divided into smaller group called dens, usually based on age. Lion Cubs ( Kindergarten), Tigers Cubs( first grade), Bear Cubs( third grade), and Webelos( fourth and fifth grades). Dens meet monthly under a direction of an adult den leader. In the Pack and their specific dens, your child will earn awards for completing an accomplishment or learning a new skill. The program has a long history( over 100 years) in building character and instill strong values. We strive to use Cub Scouting 12 core values throughout all elements of our program- service projects, ceremonies, games, songs, crafts and other activities. We empasizes on leadership, community, family, character development, and personal fitness. Give your son a valuable gift by encouraging to join Cub Scouting today. Let us know if you want to volunteer in the adult leadership roles such as den leaders, assistant den leaders, den chiefs, etc. The time you invest in him today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow.

Just a reminder that our first pack meeting of the year is tonight at Indian Mills Memorial School Cafeteria (enter through the back doors). All kids, boys and girls, Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to come check it out. No commitments needed tonight. Reach out with any questions!

Some scouts from Pack 47 had a great time this past week at Cub Scout Day Camp. The weather did not always cooperate but they had a lot of fun enjoying archery, BB guns, swimming, and learning about dinosaurs.

Pack 47 had a great time at Scout Night at the Trenton Thunder. After the game they got to sleep out on the field!
