Enhance Your Physical and Mental Well-being with Ballet Brain Circuit
When: Tuesdays, 10 AM – 11 AM, Oct 31 – Dec 12

Physical and mental fitness should be connected. Ballet Brain Circuit is comprised of conditioning and stretch exercises based on ballet training principles. The class is designed to improve cognitive function while increasing muscular endurance, cardiovascular health, balance and coordination. It decreases chronic stress and promotes an uplifting mood. Unlock the Art of Authentic Acting with Act-3: Perfect for Older Adults 55+
When: Thursdays, 10 AM –12 PM, Oct 19 – Dec 14

Act-3 is a basic skills acting class for older adults, based on the acting exercises developed by the legendary acting teacher Sanford Meisner, with one purpose in mind, To Live Truthfully Under Imaginary Circumstances. Participants will work on four skills that will provide a solid foundation for beginning actors or build confidence in those who feel shy in the spotlight. These skills are: Really Doing, Other Person Focused, Point of View, and Emotional Preparation. Simply put, Act-3 will teach you the acting β€œROPEs." Discover the magic of music at Family Fest!

Join GRoW @ The Wallis on October 14 from 10 AM – 2 PM for an unforgettable day filled with interactive music-themed activities! Young people can get up close and personal with a variety of instruments at our instrument petting zoo, guided by trained classical musicians. They can even craft their very own French horn! Plus, don't miss our Composer’s Lab, where young talents can create their own musical masterpiece and have it performed by a professional Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra musician. It's a musical adventure you won't want to miss! Tasty food trucks and concessions will be available! Artists will include Parker Bent, Mariachi Tierra Mia, Kymberly Stewart Music, Spring Groove, and much more!
