My friends and family tell me that my eye for photography is one of those gifts. I found my interest for visual arts in middle school, at The Children's Institute in Verona, NJ, when I won second place in the ASAH poster contest. At Banyan High School, I got involved in photography. As soon I walked into the first photography class, I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. When you have Asperger’s, recognizing emotions in others can be difficult. People don't realize how something simple like not being able to keep eye contact makes it hard to understand whether someone is saying something good or something bad. Every time I try to look at someone in the eye, I get shaky. For me, photography has become a way to bridge the gap and share my interests with others. When you look at my photos, I hope you can feel me looking you in the eye. I enjoy photographing Nature, People, Trains, and the world that surrounds me!
