Natananjali dancers performed today at Fiesta Asia festival in DC.

Went to Boston today for my niece cm student’s show presented by The Modern Theatre. Neha did a wonderful job!!!! It was lovely to meet some of her students who had come for the show:-)

Natananjali dancers, Deepa Shantini and Deepa Raghu performed today for AAPI Heritage month celebrations organized by Asian American Health Initiative, Montgomery County DHHS.

Natananjali dancers performed at two events today. Group performances for Lunar New Year celebrations at Potomac Mills and a solo performance by Veena Kailad for Thaipoosam celebrations at Murugan Temple, coordinated by Sudha Krishnamurthy.

Natananjali students performed yesterday at the MahaShivaratri celebrations at Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, organized for the 16th year by Deepti Navile.

Natananjali dancers, Shohini Banerjee and Nikhila Kumar, performed at Fashion City Pentagon Mall for Lunar New Year celebrations, today.

Natananjali student, Veena Kailad, performed at the Martin Luther King Jr. service at Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church today. Honored to have had US senator from Maryland, Senator Chris Van Hollen, in the audience.

Natananjali dancers performed today on the Global Beats Stage hosted by World Heritage Cultural Center, at the DC Travel Show held at Washington DC Convention Center.

Year end review 2025

Natananjali students performed at several venues in 2025 in the US.

Performances included the City Hall of College Park for Lunar New Year celebrations, at Fashion Center Pentagon City Mall organized by Asian American Chamber of Commerce for Lunar New Year celebrations, at the Rockville Lantern Festival, Murugan Temple of North America for Thaipoosam Thirunaal, Sri Siva Vishnu Temple for Maha Shivaratri, at Ugadi celebrations organized by Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, at Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church for Holi celebrations, the AAPI Heritage Month Celebrations organized by Montgomery County, Fiesta Asia festival, Maryland Department of Transportation in celebration of AANHPI Heritage month, for Sri Siva Gnana Deepika Mahotsavam organized by Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, The Village at Rockville, Senior Living Center, in celebration of International Month, fundraiser for SV Lotus Temple in VA, Sadaram MT organized by Swasthi Foundation featuring N. Srikanth and Aswathy Srikanth, Diwali celebrations at Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church, diwali celebrations at Leisure World organized by Friends of India Association, at Mosaic International Showcase at Fashion City Pentagon Mall, organized by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, at Murugan Temple of North America for Skandha Sashti celebrations, and at an event organized by Sankar Nethralaya.

This summer, Natananjali students Sowmya Natarajan, Jayant Vedamony, and Aathira Shahi performed their arangetrams while Aurna Dasgupta performed her Nrityanjali, successfully.

Natananjali student, Veena Kailad, performed a solo show at Sri Siva Vishnu Temple. She was also presented the Award of Excellence in dance by the DC chapter of NSAL- National Society of Arts and Letters.

Natananjali students learned under Sri. N. Srikanth in a week long workshop.

Our students delighted our audience with an enthusiastic performance while raising $3360.96 for Shanthi Bhavan through annual day show, Arpanam.

Natananjali students once again donated to fund the education of a child through AIM for Seva.

Natananjali School of Dance donated 278 lbs of food to Manna Food Center in November, right before Thanksgiving.

Natananjali director, Lakshmi Swaminathan, was honored by the “Preronadayini award” by Nootana and Rishi Das.
